So I am currently trying to bulk up my sample materials, does anyone have any opinion on MORE of what they would like to see? I already have the print material and book materials. I am interested in what my clients are interested in... so PLEASE send me some feedback on what is valuable to you! Do you want newer, more recent items?
Some products that I have been looking at are canvas, standouts, major packages, lay-flat books, lay-flat albums, and building on most of my basics. I have seen photo-chimes, bookmarks, coasters, mugs, the list goes on and on of products that come in ALL shapes and sizes that I may choose from. Here is the link to WHCC, my major printing company and a SAMPLE special they are offering... please take a couple minutes to browse around and let me know what you would like to see in your foyers, over your mantels, and on your book shelves!

Bridal Re-shoots and Lord Byron
This year is going by so fast! It never seems like I have enough hours in a day or days in a week. It has been a while since my last post here, but I hope new scheduling will provide some space for blogging in the future. :D
This year has been one For Romance, as I have been scheduling more and more weddings, I really broke through in my style and hit my stride on the bridals since last December. I am excited to be introducing a new package.
Bridal Re-shoots are for those 40% of brides who want to re-shoot their bridals for an amazing price. It was brought to my attention by a friend who wanted to re-shoot her bridals, but didn't want to pay out of her price range for a re-shoot. The bridals she had done where lovely, it's just that she wanted MORE options, and since she and her sister had been married around the same time they wanted to take portraits together, which they had not had the chance to do.
Then came the inspiration: How many think back and wish they could set things up differently? Is there a way to make it affordable? The answer yes.
For $100 an hour, there will be a place provided for hair and make-up, you may do your own or I will help, (I also have a hair and make-up artist we may at any time employ, but there are major fees for this option) we may go to any location of your choice (if there are costs for admission this is to be covered by client), you have unlimited access to your portraits. All photos of my choice are edited and a flash drive of your portraits made WITH Copyright for delivery or pick-up.
Any prints or product is OPTIONAL and a completely separate order. Once you have your flash drive and preview your photos, you may come back for a free order session or I do take email and phone orders. I keep your files FOREVER so you may order anytime after your session.
Contact me TODAY to book your Bridals or Bridal-Reshoot! I am open to opinions so please be full of ideas~
To Romance
Parent to golden dreams, Romance!
Auspicious Queen of childish joys,
Who lead'st along, in airy dance,
Thy votive train of girls and boys;
At length, in spells no longer bound,
I break the fetters of my youth;
No more I tread thy mystic round,
But leave thy realms for those of Truth.

Musical Interest: Support Your Local Bands.
I have been on a music binge lately. Music for me is emotion, is soul, longing, a way to say what I've been meaning to say. There is beautiful, passionate, and wicked music for every single mood I have. ;) Live Music has been and always will be my taste of choice. I prefer to stand right beside the stage and as close to speakers as possible, wanting to feel the bass run through my very bones. When feeling the need for excitement the smashing loud heavy metal of places like "Somewhere Else Tavern", premiering bands such as "Bornagain", "Sinners for Saints", "The Jupiter Tide", and "A Light Divided" is the perfect venue of choice, other times you can find me at Krankies Coffee listening to the pleasant Acoustics of Tyler Nail and Matthew Allivato, or "The Garage" listening as Seth Walker rocks the electric guitar with his smooth Blues and enticing lyrics, then there is always Zach Groff who is a talented young artist who writes and plays his own music and continues to amaze me with his talent. I am still in search of a Blues or Jazz Bar/ Venue... if anyone knows of any PLEASE let me know. Entertainment Photo Shoots are quickly becoming a favorite passion of mine, though still some what of a side project... any questions or comments you guys can send my way is highly appreciated and I hope to see you out and about the triad, and for all the musically talented, keep up the good work and keep it coming. :D

Down by the lake
Carolina Country. When the air begins to warm and the days start to lengthen, a quiet joy seeps into my heart. Sun-kissed hair and the perfume of the surrounding trees reach tiny fragrant fingers into my mind, and I literally have to slow my steps so I don't take off before I have everything (as we all know I am prone to forget things or solemnly leave them behind, as I have come to call it.), but of course I do and I am almost at the nearby lake when I realize...**GASP** I forgot my camera... Well there is a first time for everything, I think and although I am itching, knowing I will lose all the light left in the day if I return to the house for it. I keep going, smiling non-the- less.
I hear an airplane; one of the ones that I still find hard to believe will fly at all, an old, beautiful, white Cessna sweeps down low over the lake then leaves my sight, as it comes back into view for some reason I drop everything and even though I know the photo will not come out even satisfactory; snap a few with my phone camera. I felt so moved by this impulsion that I just stood there for a bit after the plane had long flown away from me. I got some of the lake and the sun and sat down to nibble on peanut butter crackers and read a chapter of my current book.

Endeavor
Why sit still? There are errands to run, school times to make, house hold chores, pets to take care of, and always my absolute favorite; running after the trash man to make him dump the three loaded to the brim trash cans. This morning was especially fun when me and my sickly, darling (grouchy-sarcastic), son finally rolled out of bed... yes plural, as I awoke to no surprise with him, two dogs, and the cat wrapped around every available space, and me clinging to the edge of my queen size bed. :D
::smiles fiercely::
I laughed so hard and found it so ironic that we all have beds up stairs and would all end up on top of each other, that I took a quick photo and sent it around, then took a few with my camera. As I rolled into the kitchen to make the morning coffee, I heard the steady drum of rain and ice, that down south "wintry mix", and I realized that the large trash bins were still at the bottom of the driveway... Hmmm it's a long driveway, but sure enough I pulled out our trash cans to see them running over; ice or not I was going to have to walk through the mess, so I donned on my rain boots and wet gear, begrudgingly of course. I didn't make it down the steps before I was running right back in to grab my camera and umbrella (to cover my camera gear of course not me). I got some excellent shots of the Japanese Bush in prime winter conditions and frozen solid. After mucking around a bit and chasing down animals to replace indoors, I removed all my gear and started flipping through photos while pouring coffee. I looked out the window and out at the grey skyline, then sighed. I forgot the trash cans, but at least I got some great shots, have been in a grand mood ever since.
Enjoy ;)

Snow Day/Taco Night
Family.
Today as I trudged through the house in slippers and robe drinking coffee, I looked around me and through the large bay window near by... snow was drifting down steadily and my son's laugh echoed down the hall. Well so much for school... SNOW DAY. I looked over at the clock on the microwave and was certain he had gotten into the chocolate ice cream I had so thoroughly hidden in the freezer. Recently there have been many things in my life that have emotionally grieved my heart, and all the stresses of every day life, but by the time night had rolled around and I had achieved a solid day of video games, loud music, and playing yes/no over what would be on my 5 year olds taco, I was in solid shape. These days are what we work so hard for. Photography is my passion and I am working toward my marketing career with all my might, but I pray I never look about me and forget what matters the most.
Sincerely,
Morgan 'Zora Jenea"
